I born in a village which is very near to Kauveri river and a channel (used for irrigation). Eventhough I don’t know swimming, I like to go often to the channel and river with my grandma during weekends. Since the channel is very near than the river, We used to go to channel very often. Kauveri will be with full of people during festive times like * Aadi perukku, * Thalai aadi (aadi 1), * Chitra Powrnami and in some other tamil festivals.

You are Lucky!! Aren’t You? Friday, Aug 1 2008

If something goes wrong, I feel I’m not lucky. If I’m getting any misunderstanding with my colleague or any problem in my career, I feel I’m not lucky. If I’m not allowed to buy anything what I want, I feel I’m not lucky and the list goes on.

But sometimes, when I see people like an ambulance driver, I feel ashamed. If I cross an ambulance when I travel, I’ll suddenly go away or close my ears (If I’m not driving ;) ). Because the sound makes me feel sad. Think of an ambulance driver whose work is to drive ambulance. He’ll regularly hear the patient’s or his/her relatives humming, noise, ambulance horns and more and more. Will it be possible for him to go away with that sound. He don’t have time for recreation. Even if he is in happy mood, I can’t hum a song while driving. Nothing would be possible.

GMAT – My Experience as a Starter Friday, Jul 18 2008

I’ve started my GMAT preparation on June 16th and it is taking all my time. I’m a middle level manager who wanted to study MBA after my BE. Due to some personal reasons, i’ve postponed it. After some time I totally forgot about it because i don’t think i can able to study after 2-3 years. I lost my touch in all basic maths.

Finally I got a change to study now. Before going to explain what i’m doing as a started, few things about me.

I finished my engineering and didn’t know what is GMAT few days before June 16th. :) I wanted to study MBA. I don’t know where to get materials, how much do they cost, what are all the materials. Nothing. Simply i wanted to prepare for GMAT. Thats it.

Below are the few links which are so helpful in getting to know more about GMAT:

Happy Maattu Pongal to me :) Friday, May 2 2008

Today we are celebrating mattu pongal in our home. You might get surprised how we would celebrate our maattu pongal in May. But we do. hmmm. thats a sad story of me. I have a chuditar which doesn’t have a dhuppatta. So, I didn’t inaugurate it so far. Yesterday when I roam around I saw a dhuppatta which has lot of chumki’s in it and also at each ends, it has around 6-7 small salangai’s (small bells in anklets).

Never say quit! Monday, Apr 7 2008

One day I decided to quit. I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality.
I wanted to quit my life. So I went to the woods to have one last talk with
God. “God, can you give me one good reason not to quit. His answer surprised
me. “Look around. Do you see the fern and the bamboo” “Yes” I replied. “When
I planted the fern and the bamboo seed, I took very good care of them. I
gave them light, I gave them water. The fern quickly grew from the earth.
It’s brilliant green covered the floor. Yet nothing came from the bamboo
seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.
