Today is the last date of booking my third semester MBA exam. I went to a nearby bank ATM to withdraw some money for the exam fee. I’m not an account holder of that bank. But my bank has given an option to withdraw anywhere. My close friend, Jane also came with me since she is also need to book for her exam. It is a hot sunny day. We were literally running to the ATM to get some cool air 
. But unfortunately that AC wasn’t working. 
. We both were planning to take some money as we need to book our slots. I inserted the card and suddenly the power went off. The ATM machine went off. My card was inside and I really didn’t know what to do next. I got this new card (I already lost one) only by last week.
We are very happy friends. Very talkative, like to roam around and eat a lot. We don’t get tensed even for a very serious thing if we are together. Even after I lost my card, we were laughing for almost 5 mins (i’m regularly loosing all my debit, credit cards thought i’m not that careless).
We saw a customer support number in the notice board of the ATM. But that’s on bangalore. When I called them, they said they can’t help with it. I should need to get a new card.
As I didn’t have any options, I applied for a new one.
I’d like to mention few things here:
- Though I lost my card, I’ve spent some time with my close friend. We are pretty busy nowadays.
- We had a good laugh
The whole incident was not because of ATM center or bank’s fault. It was due to power failure. No one is able to do anything with it. Especially in chennai.
I usually wwould like to use dark blue color when i reply the mail. But I cannot set it as a default one in my setting using previous version 2003. Everytime I’ll select and i’ll go n check the dark blue. But in 2007, i love all the features but little confused while using at the first time. They’ve given lots n lots of features and i don’t know where to go and check for a particular feature i want.
